TechAdviser: Top 20 Wordpress plugins to power up your blog – Top 20 plugins Every Blog Should Have

I like Wordpress – It’s easy to use, easy to install, easy to customize and it has a lot of great features. What’s really great about Wordpress is a huge community behind. If you will need any help or anything like that I am pretty sure you are not the only one so you will quickly find an answer to your question online. Great thing about Wordpress is also a huge database of various plugins available for free.
I didn’t find any perfect software so far but Wordpress with some additional plugins could be almost perfect.

So here is my list of a top 10 Wordpress plugins (not necessary in that order):

1.) NextGen gallery
NextGen gallery allows you to create image galleries, image albums, watermark images … and you can easily insert image or image gallery into your post.

2.) FeedBurner
Originally authored by Steve Smith, this plugin detects all ways to access your original WordPress feeds and redirects them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber.

3.) Formidable

5.) Syntax Highlighter and Code Prettifier Plugin for WordPress
Simple and probably one of the best syntax highlighters in the market. This plugin integrates Alex Gorbatchev’s Syntax Highlighter Tool. Full Support for : Bash/shell, C#, C++, CSS, Delphi, Diff, Groovy, JavaScript, Java, Perl, PHP, Plain Text, Python, Ruby, Scala, SQL, Visual Basic and XML.

6.) Zemanta

7.) WP Super Cache
It makes your pages load way faster and since it stores static versions of your site, it requires much less CPU processing than using WordPress all by itself.

8.) All in one Seo or HeadSpace 2: WordPress SEO Made Simple
You can try both and see which one suits you better. All in one seo is nice, a lot of users use it and it’s a good plugin with almost everything what you will need for seo. On the other hand Headspace 2: Wordpress SEO Made Simple is pretty new but it has a lot of great features. It’s hard to say which one is better but it’s depends what you will need and which one suits you better.

9.) WP-PageNavi
Adds a more advanced paging navigation to your WordPress blog. You don’t really like “Older posts” and “Newer posts” links on your wordpress and want to replace it with something more user friendly and better looking? Try this plugin.

10.) Autoclose
